Ingredients
- 1 package King’s Hawaiian Pretzel Sliders (or your favorite pretzel buns – you can even make your own!)
- 4 Tablespoons butter
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 Tablespoons grapeseed oil
- 1 onion, diced
- 1 green pepper bell, diced
- 12oz shaved ribeye
- 6oz sliced provolone (4 oz chopped, 2 oz sliced)
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Giardinara, pickled jalapenos, chili crunch – or your favorite spicy add on
Steps
- 1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
- 2
Melt butter and add minced garlic, set aside.
- 3
Heat a large skillet over medium high heat. Add oil.
- 4
Add diced onions to the pan and sauté until caramelized, about 8-10 minutes.
- 5
Add diced green peppers. Cook about 5 minutes.
- 6
Move the peppers and onions oven to one side of the pan. Add the shaved ribeye. Season generously with salt and pepper.
- 7
Cook on high for about 3 minutes, until some of the pink of the meat has started to disappear.
- 8
Add chopped provolone to the skillet and turn off the heat. Mix to combine and start to melt the cheese.
- 9
Split the pretzel rolls horizontally. Place on sheet tray, or in a baking dish.
- 10
Brush the bottoms with garlic butter.
- 11
Add the meat and cheese mixture to the bottom buns.
- 12
Top with sliced provolone (you can also add your spicy condiment of choice now, or let your guests do it later)
- 13
Top with top buns.
- 14
Brush tops with garlic butter.
- 15
Bake for 5-10 minutes to melt the cheese.
- 16
Serve and enjoy!
